1. Acceptance of these terms
These Terms of Service form an agreement between you and Aikedi Technology (hangzhou) Co., Ltd. regarding your access to and use of the CalFit website, mobile application, and related services, collectively referred to as the "Services."
By accessing or using the Services, you agree to these terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Services. Additional terms from Apple App Store, Google Play, or another distribution platform may also apply.
2. Eligibility and accounts
You must be legally able to enter into this agreement. If you are not old enough to do so independently where you live, a parent or legal guardian must review and accept these terms for you.
You are responsible for providing accurate account information, protecting your sign-in credentials, and all activity performed through your account. Notify us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without permission.
Guest access may provide a limited product experience. Features that create or manage personal goals, subscriptions, or registered-user resources may require registration or sign-in.
3. What CalFit provides
CalFit provides tools for recording food, workouts, weight, body measurements, activity, calorie balance, and body goals. It may also provide calculations, trends, reminders, integrations, and Premium features.
Calorie, metabolic, activity, body composition, and goal calculations are estimates based on the information you provide and the methods used by the Services. Results may differ from actual energy intake, expenditure, or body changes. CalFit does not guarantee a particular health, fitness, weight, or performance result.
4. Health and safety notice
CalFit provides general health and fitness information only. It is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, or emergency services. Do not rely on the Services as a substitute for advice from a qualified healthcare professional.
Consult a healthcare professional before making significant changes to diet, exercise, or weight goals, particularly if you have a medical condition, take medication, are pregnant, have a history of disordered eating, or experience concerning symptoms. Stop using any recommendation that feels unsafe and seek appropriate care.
5. Your entries and responsibilities
You are responsible for the accuracy of the food, exercise, weight, profile, and other information you enter or import. Inaccurate or incomplete information can affect calculations and recommendations.
You retain ownership of information and content you submit. You give us limited permission to host, process, calculate, display, synchronize, and back up that information only as needed to operate and improve the Services, subject to our Privacy Policy.
6. License and acceptable use
We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use CalFit for lawful, non-commercial purposes in accordance with these terms and applicable platform rules.
You must not:
- Copy, sell, sublicense, distribute, or commercially exploit the Services except where we expressly permit it.
- Reverse engineer, decompile, modify, or attempt to extract source code, except where applicable law expressly allows it.
- Bypass subscriptions, quotas, authentication, security controls, or feature restrictions.
- Use automated systems to overload, scrape, disrupt, or gain unauthorized access to the Services.
- Upload unlawful, harmful, infringing, fraudulent, or malicious content.
- Use the Services in a way that violates another person's rights or applicable law.
7. Free access and Premium features
Registered free users may use CalFit's core manual food, workout, weight, body goal, seven-day statistics, and profile features. Premium is required for designated advanced features and for creating resources beyond free-plan limits.
Current free-plan creation limits are:
- Up to 6 custom foods.
- Up to 3 meal templates.
- Up to 6 custom exercises.
- Up to 3 workout templates.
Premium features may include barcode scanning, more customization for foods, exercises, and templates, unlimited body goals with progress tracking, superset training, extended 30-day and 90-day progress insights, data export, and advanced Apple Health or other supported health-platform synchronization. Specific availability may depend on device, region, platform permissions, and supported third-party services.
CalFit does not display third-party advertising to Guest, Registered Free, or Premium users.
8. Premium subscriptions
CalFit may offer Monthly, Quarterly, and Annual Premium subscriptions. Current reference prices are $3.99 per month, $9.99 every three months, and $21.99 per year. The price, currency, taxes, billing period, and offer shown by Apple App Store or Google Play at confirmation are the terms that apply to your purchase.
CalFit does not currently offer a free trial. Registering an account does not automatically grant Premium access.
Premium subscriptions automatically renew for the same billing period unless you cancel through the store account used for the purchase before renewal. The applicable store processes payment and may charge your payment method according to its own timing and terms.
You may manage or cancel your subscription through Apple App Store or Google Play. Cancellation stops future renewal and normally takes effect at the end of the period already paid for. Deleting CalFit, deleting your CalFit account, or signing out does not by itself cancel a store subscription.
Refund requests, billing disputes, price changes, taxes, and withdrawal rights are handled under the applicable store's policies and mandatory consumer law. CalFit provides a Restore Purchases function for eligible purchases associated with the user's store account.
Premium access depends on a valid active entitlement. Temporary network, store, account, or subscription-provider issues may delay status updates. We may use a short-term local cache to show the most recently verified status, but an expired or unverifiable status does not create a new Premium entitlement.
9. Third-party services
The Services may connect to Apple, Google, RevenueCat, health platforms, wearable devices, food databases, or other third-party services. Your use of those services is also subject to their terms and privacy practices. We are not responsible for third-party availability, accuracy, security, or changes outside our control.
10. Intellectual property
CalFit, its software, interface, branding, graphics, documentation, and other materials are owned by Aikedi Technology (hangzhou) Co., Ltd. or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. These terms do not transfer ownership of the Services or our intellectual property to you.
11. Service changes and availability
We may update, add, limit, suspend, or remove features to improve CalFit, address security or legal requirements, or respond to third-party changes. We will make reasonable efforts to communicate material changes that adversely affect paid features.
The Services may occasionally be unavailable because of maintenance, network conditions, device compatibility, platform review, third-party outages, or events beyond our reasonable control.
12. Suspension and termination
You may stop using CalFit at any time. We may suspend or terminate access when reasonably necessary to protect users or the Services, comply with law, address fraud or security risks, or respond to a serious or repeated violation of these terms.
Termination of a CalFit account does not automatically cancel a subscription purchased through Apple App Store or Google Play. You must cancel it separately through the applicable store.
13. Disclaimers
To the extent permitted by law, the Services are provided "as is" and "as available." We do not warrant that every calculation, database entry, integration, or feature will always be accurate, complete, available, or error-free. Nothing in these terms excludes warranties or rights that cannot legally be excluded.
14. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, Aikedi Technology (hangzhou) Co., Ltd. is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive loss arising from use of or inability to use the Services. Our total liability relating to the Services will not exceed the amount you paid to us for the Services during the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim.
These limitations do not apply where prohibited by law, including liability that cannot be limited under applicable consumer protection law.
15. Applicable law and consumer rights
These terms are governed by the laws applicable to Aikedi Technology (hangzhou) Co., Ltd. and your use of the Services, without overriding mandatory rights available to you under the laws of your country or region. Nothing in these terms limits non-waivable consumer rights.
16. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as CalFit develops. We will update the date above and provide reasonable notice of material changes through the Services or this website. Continued use after revised terms take effect means you accept the revised terms, where permitted by law.
